I think too much of anything can be harmful.
Pretty much everything Cicada Marionette has done is great, even her website is like a weird little adventure into her thoughts and ideas. It’s really interesting. The crude disjointedness of everything she makes is somehow very refreshing and it’s actually inspiring the crap out of me at the moment. Thinking I’m going to try making a game in unity pretty soon here…
This game is incredible.

I’m definitely not the person you want to ask, but it’s worth looking into - I have heard many good things. I’m sure it’s better than the school I went to, anyway. haha.

yeah but a lot of what i do is self-taught. school taught me fundamentals and like, industry… stuff… my whole style and technique is just stuff i figured out on my own or with help from friends and by studying other artists. but school was useful for forming connections and learning how the industry works and oh yeah i got a job from it so i can’t say it was a totally bad idea.
still wouldn’t recommend for-profit schools like the AI. they’re kind of a scam.
